Welcome to Currimudi Special School's website page. Currimundi Special School is located on the beautiful Sunshine Coast and we provide education for students from Prep to Y12, all who have a significant intellectual disability (see Enrolment criteria for more information)
At Currimundi Special School we cater for the diverse needs of our learners through individualised planning, an innovative approach to teaching and learning, a strong focus on communication and the commitment to a well organised, respectful school environment.
Currimindi Special School students are committed to being 'safe, caring and successful' and this can be seen across classrooms and the school and wider school environment. We ensure that we provide the very best resources to support student learning and provide opportunities for students to achieve to their very best.
At Currimundi Special School we encourage parents / carers to be integral in the education process, through the provision of regular opportunities to share in student learning, celebrate successes and engage in planning and target setting.
