Currimundi Special School is a P-12 school located in the North Coast Region on the Sunshine Coast just north of Caloundra. The school enrolment zone incorporates a large catchment, from Maroochydore and Buderim in the north, to Caloundra and Pelican Waters in the south and as far west as the communities of Landsborough and Beerwah.
We are proud to be a Queensland State Special School, and teach the Australian Curriculum, providing individualised learning experiences for students with complex educational needs in a safe, supportive and caring environment. We have high expectations for, and of, all students, with a focus on working with each student to reach their potential.
Our school motto 'Together We Grow' underpins our philosophy that it is only when we work together that we have the support we need to grow and develop in all areas of our lives. This belief is demonstrated in our commitment to support students to achieve their very best through quality learning experiences aimed at developing and enhancing academic skills, communication, social and living skills.
